Welcome

Thanks for stopping by my site. As my tag line suggests, my passion is to stimulate people's minds and nourish their souls.

Since 1984, I have worked full-time to accomplish that goal through my writing and speaking.

I’ve authored and co-authored more than 80 books in such wide-ranging fields as health and fitness, motivation, travel, business, and inspiration. Some of those books have included ghostwritten autobiographies for singer B.J. Thomas, Franklin Graham, pianist Dino Karsanakas, Chick-fil-A founder S. Truett Cathy, ultra-marathon runner Stan Cottrell, and Dr. Ben Carson of Johns Hopkins Hospital. My latest is the autobiography of Salome Thomas-EL called I Choose to Stay (Kensington Books). Reader’s Digest excerpted it in their February 2003 issue.

I’ve especially enjoyed preaching in churches and speaking at conferences throughout the United States and overseas. I love getting away from the computer and meeting people who have benefited from reading my books. Interacting with them stimulates my mind and nourishes my soul. I've included my upcoming speaking dates. If you can attend any of these events, please introduce yourself to me.

I live in the Atlanta area and am married to Shirley, who’s a wonderful woman and former editor. We have three grown children. Click here for my bio sheet.

Again, thanks for stopping by my site.
