Made with Photo Impact 6

This tutorial assumes you have the knowledge of how to add filters
to Photo Impact and that you are an intermediate user of the program.

With this tutorial you will need the following files.
Dragonfly Sinedot Filter by Phillip Spoeth

Mu Ra's filter Meister..Cloud 2.2

Open a new image 400 x 400.....fill color ...select a sky blue
 Right click..select all
Go to effect..find the Mu Ra's filter Meister..Clouds
 Use the following settings

make the color blue... effect..100...amount 67...grain 3... contrast 0...bias -23...
leave the rest set at 0...blend mode..choose normal..say ok

Now open another new image 400 x 400....fill black
Right click..select all.....you must do this step or the sinedot will not work and your
program may crash on you. Now go to effect...Dragonfly/sinedot. We are going to create a bubble. Use the following settings below.  Be sure that you do not have inverse checked. You can save the sinedot you just made by typing in a name where you see default..then click save. Select ok. The image will appear on your canvas..its slow though so be patient.

Your bubble is now an object..and we now want to make it into a mask.
In order to do this we need to change it to grayscale..
Go up to format..select data type..and grayscale.
A new image will appear..you can close the other one.
Now open another canvas  400 x 400..again fill with black ..
Go up to selection and choose import selection.....
you will see your bubble in the window and it will now appear
in the new image you just created.
Your bubble will be active with jagged lines....
right click on it while active and select convert to object.

Now lets fill our bubble with color..go up to fill..select magic gradient...
click on the edit button to select a color..I chose 011.....
also choose Mode 14. Click ok.

Now you have your bubble the color you want it....you may also at this time click it and drag it to your Easy Palette to use again.

Click on your bubble and select copy.
Go back to the original image you created....your clouds..
go  to edit ...paste as object..do not merge!
Get the image you want to use for your bubble and paste it in your bubble..
move it around to get it where you want it to be.
Right click on it..select properties..change transparency to 10%.
Then right click again....arrange..send to back.
To add more bubbles..right click and duplicate your original one and edit..paste..choose the transform tool to change the size of it...
on mine I created 3 bubbles and left these on top of the images.
If any area of your bubbles are covering an area of your image
that you do not want covered..click on it ..go to your eraser tool
and erase the portion that is covering your image.

Thats it!  Now you can frame your creation.....have fun making bubbles!
