Start out with a new image 300 x 300
Go to the path tool..shape..custom shape.. 3D Round... choose a color for your mailbox |

Pick ARCH 3...draw shape
Click on the arch to make it active..go to edit Rotate and flip verticle. Make 2 more arches..this time in 2 D..put one aside for later. Take the one and make it a few shades darker that the first one you made. Use the transform tool to make it slightly smaller then the first one also. Place the darker one that you made smaller over top of the first one. Now go to path tool..shape..select circle 3D . Draw a small circle for you lid handle. Right click circle ..arrange..send to back. Select pick tool. Hold down the shift key..select the circle ..and the two arches you have stacked..right click and merge as single object. |

Go to path tool.shape...custom shape..ARCH 3..3D..Make another one ..this time in a gray color.Click on transform tool and distort. Pulling the left edge up a little bit to make the bottom slant. Now right click duplicate this arch..change to 2D..Go to edit..fill..select a darker gray. Click on transform..(make sure you do not have distort still selected) and again make this one a little smaller than the lighter gray one. Select the pick tool.Hold down shift key..selecting the two gray arches..right click..merge as single object. |

Go to path tool..shape..select rectangle 2D..Draw your rectangle. While still active..right click and select arrange ..send to back. Place it slightly behind the gray arches you made. |

Now get the other arch you made that you put aside earlier. Place it over the rectangle at the back..it should be a tiny bit higher than the rectangle..so you may need to use the transform tool to make it a little higher. |

Click on the first arches you made (your lid) to make it active. Click on transform tool..and Rotate it clockwise 8 degees and put it in place as shown. |

Go to path tool..shape..rounded rectangle 3D- color ..white. Draw you
rounded rectangle horizontally..this is going to be your flag.
Go to path tool again..shape..square...3D..color red..border 14..Depth 4 Make a small red square to finish your mailbox flag. Place it on the side of your mailbox. If you so desire..place text on your mailbox now. Then hold down ctrl key...Shift Key ..and the A key all at the same time..all will become active..right click and merge as single object. |

Go to path tool..shape..rectangle 3D..Border 15 Depth 20
Click on color..go to Natural texture fill..choose a wood you like. I chose wood 6. Make your shape large enough for your mailbox to set on. Right click on the active rectangle..arrange..send to back. Move it up under your mailbox. |

Now to to path tool again..shape..select rounded rectangle..3D for you post..same wood fill again.Make it taller than your mailbox so that it comes up above the box somewhat. Right click on your post select arrange..send to back..move it into place. |

Now again hold down Ctrl key..shift key and the A key..all will become
active..right click..and merge as single object......
Thats it ! Your mailbox is all done. Enjoy! |
