For this tutorial you will need
Photo Impact
Eye Candy

Open a new image 300 x 300

Got to edit/fill/magic gradient.

I chose 004

Choose one of the more solid color grandients by clicking on the edit button.

Select Mode 19

Your square should look like the one above.
Go to effects/eye candy/choose jiggle
Use the settings below:
Bubble Size 30
Wrap around 30
Twist 20
Bubbles

another variation i like is using
Bubble Size 37
Wrap around 7
Twist 19
Bubbles

 
Now your square will look like this.
Now go go effect/simple/quick tile.
Select and apply.
To use as a stationary or background..
open a new image 1280 x 300
right click on your satin piece you made.
click on your blank image...go to edit/fill/select clipboard.
Save your new background.
