	Open a new image 300 x 200 Go to path edit tool, rectangle I made my rectangle this size... 212 w x 130 H If you have a longer name .... compensate by making your rectangle larger. I used for my fill... R 232 G 220 B 197 hex# E8DCC5 With your rectangle, active click on object Convert Object type from text/path to image.
	Now go to format..frame and shadow select edge frame gallery...choose the 8th one up from the bottom. Where it says one color..have white selected
	OK,select the airbrush ,size 15 and a darker color of brown ..i chose R 165 g 88 B 0 hex # A55800 Now let's use the burn tool... click on it and have the setting ..shape..circle...size 2 And lets burn over the area we just airbrushed. This should give it a nice apprearance.
	Lets change the texture of the paper now.. Go to effect.......all.....texture filter Select the animal hide one...say ok.. apply to image Now your paper should look like the one shown. Ready to add a scroll end to it now? Let's go to path drawing tool... rounded rectangle..3d and draw one along the left side of our paper. Mine is 17 W x 156 H Then select the circle and make one size 27..duplicate and place on each end of the rod you just made. Choose a fill for it...put same fill on the circles and the rounded rectangle. I chose ...Rosie's engraved goldilus preset.... the Clementine one.... Go to object... convert object from text/path to image Do this for both the rod and the circles. Now select the burn tool again , size 10 and on each of these 3 pieces burn around the edges to give it some nice shading.
	Your scroll should now look like this. Open up your easy pallette... path library & find the quill Drag it to a blank canvas....right click and ungroup it ...then you can fill the feather and such with a desired color.
	Open a new image 100 x 100 Now we need an inkwell.... to make one is very simple.... Go to path drawing tool.... Select rounded rectangle..this is the for the bottom part ....then select the square..place this on top of the rectangle and right click ..send to back..then select the elipse and make it very thin to lay on top of your square.. hit ctrl..shift...A to select all the pieces..right click .. merge as single object. Drag it over to your scroll. Place it as shown.
	Now we are going to work on the steps to make your scroll animated. Go to effect/material effect/turnpage Now ....first Select the middle book icon where it says mode. And where it says Type..select .. the first one. Where is says corner.. select the last one. Now see you have two pictures of your scroll ..the one on the left side has the points on it..put your curser on the blue point and drag it a little more then halfway to the left.... select ok Hold down the shift/ctrl.. A keys to select all...go to web...image optimizer...save as a gif ..transparency checked.... mask options...matte..none save this as your first frame. Then go to edit.undo turnpage.
	Select text at this point .. I chose Black Chancery..text size 30.. Place the first letter of your name to the left of the scroll. Then place your quill aside the letter..making sure it never comes up above your scroll. Go back to your pick tool and select your scroll again..go to effect/material effect/turnpage again...(you will notice the position that you placed your scroll last time will still show up in the window as it remembers the last setting) this time we are going to go right to the half way mark so that our first letter we wrote is showing..but only just to it..don't leave a lot of space.. Again select all..save as a gif for your second frame. Go to edit..undo turnpage
	Now go to text again and put the next letter of your name on ..moving your quill along beside it. Again go to effect/material effect/turnpage..move your page open a bit more.. Save...... Repeat these steps until you get all of your name on the scroll. Remember to undo the turnpage each time.
	Once your name is all on... move your quill ... down a bit as shown..and do the turnpage one more time.. if you want to totally lay back down your quill...do so and save one more frame. Now you are ready to take your frames into gif animator....
	Open animator and select animation wizard..putting in the size of your frames...click next....add image..find the frames you just saved.delay time 55 . click ok Down where you see your frames.. right click on the first frame..set delay time to 75...right click on the last frame..delay time 200 Click on preview and see if you like how it looks.....then click on edit.. then on file..optimization wizard.... Be sure to lower the 256 down.. I took mine down to 30 without losing quality. save.... you are done!! Congrats!!
